While Chicago was battling a late April blizzard, I was lucky enough to escape to Kentucky for Ginger and Paul’s destination wedding.
In the greatest meet-cute of all time, these two Chicagoans met on the L.
Ginger, on her way home from banjo lessons, glanced across the train and saw a cute guy with a banjo. She struck up a conversation, assuming he was in her class. He went along with it, even though he wasn’t.
They quickly realized they shared a love of adventure and the outdoors. Eventually, they took their first big trip together — to Red River Gorge. A year later they returned to the Gorge, where Paul proposed. Even though none of their family or friends had ever been to Kentucky, they realized it was the perfect spot to kick off their marriage.
And, of course, they walked down the aisle to a local Kentucky string band—banjo and all.
Settle back, press play, and enjoy this peek into Ginger & Paul’s gorgeous Kentucky wedding:
Kind Words from the Couple
Chelsea crafted the most beautiful, heartfelt, and meaningful wedding video for us! It gorgeously captures the happiness and emotion of the day! Also, Chelsea was so wonderful to work with! She is super fun and was always very responsive. She also worked in perfect sync with our photographers. We are thrilled with the films from our wedding day and feel so lucky she was a part of our day!
