Hey, I’m Chelsea

Couple shares first kiss at the Joinery in Logan Square

Logan Square is filled with hidden gems, but the Joinery is one of my favorites. Tucked on a quiet back-street near the Western Blue Line stop, this woodshop-turned-event space was the perfect venue for Divya and Randy to exchange vows.

As their officiant, Rita, put it:

“[It’s] a perfect name for the space where these two beautiful people from different backgrounds will join their lives together.”

No detail was too small at this gorgeous Indian-American fusion wedding. The outdoor ceremony (decorated with rugs, lanterns, and gorgeous floral arrangements) felt like a cozy and inviting patio. Inside, the welcoming atmosphere continued with vintage tableware, handcrafted cocktails, and heaps of delicious food.

Watch the video below to take a peek into the couple’s gorgeous day:

Hey, I’m Chelsea

Growing up, I had big dreams of being a writer—but one screenwriting seminar over mac and cheese pizza changed everything. Now, with a film degree and over 100 weddings under my belt, I get to tell your real-life stories (and, trust me, they put my made-up ones to shame).
